Localization of Software
At the moment our software localization services are limited with the consultation, localization specific translation and quality assurance.
Note: We don't provide globalization and internationalization services.
Consultation:
- Defining application parts needed to be localized (these may include marketing materials, help, printed and online documentation, multimedia components, GUIs, and functionalities) and setting priorities to them.
- Advising in organizing localizable resources (represented as files and other logical units).
- Assisting in setting an optimal localization process.
Localization specific translation:
- Translation of a text extracted from an application taking into account the cultural conventions and distinctive features of a target region.
- Proofreading, stylistic and literary editing the translated text by a native speaker with a linguistic education.
- Creating terminology dictionaries, so that term consistency is preserved in a whole application.
Note: The task of extracting and reintegrating all types of translatable elements of a product lays on a customer.
Note: You may either choose any specific dialect/variant of a target language a translation should be maid to or let us make the decision.
Localization specific quality assurance:
Planning, establishing, and managing a localization specific test process:
Note: Most of these items may be applied separately.
Concerning quality assurance the platforms we support are Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
A high complexity of software localization requires thorough coordination between phases of work and tight collaboration of different professionals hence not depending on a service we provide we try to be real time responsive in communication. We apply a personal approach to every client and guarantee on time high quality order fulfilment.
If you require more information or have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to respond.
Note: See the " Working Languages" section to get to know about the languages we work with.
